West Indian Manatee

The West Indian Manatee is the largest out there in the world. On average they will weigh about 1,300 pounds and be approximately 11 feet long.

While we know the basics of manatee reproduction, researchers admit there is still a great deal to learn about.

There is no denying that the manatee is a very unique mammal found in the water. Full grown they can weigh up to 1,200 pounds.
